OUR STORY

Mercy Road Church – Northeast is a part of a family of churches called Mercy Road Church. Mercy Road Church first started in 2010 in Carmel, Indiana when Pastor Josh Husmann felt called to start a church for unchurched people. The vision was to reach people far from God and disciple them into passionate followers of Jesus who would live out their faith and demonstrate His love to others.

Mercy Road has a vision to plant churches that plant churches and to create a disciple-making culture that impacts the world outside the walls of the church. We helped start and help sustain a church planting network called Multiply Indiana aimed at aimed at reaching the entire state of Indiana for Jesus & His Kingdom. In addition to supporting Multiply Indiana, we have committed to planting Mercy Road Churches throughout the state of Indiana.

In the fall of 2020, we officially launched Mercy Road Church – Northeast, in the middle of the pandemic. Pastor Ken Primeau and his family felt called by God to move from California to join the Mercy Road family of churches and plant Mercy Road Northeast.  Pastor Daron Earlewine served as a teaching pastor at Mercy Road Carmel for a number of years before joining the launch team of Mercy Road Northeast and serves on our teaching team.  After multiple preview services, many hours of prayer, and a lot of excitement, Mercy Road Church – Northeast became established. We started off with only two or three Mercy Kids rooms opened, to now those rooms being filled to occupancy. We did not have a student ministry when we began, but we have an established student ministry called Mercy Students. The number of our Outposts continues to grow as people start to walk in their purpose to reach the world and many discipleship huddles are beginning to form.

When you walk in the doors of our building, we hope that you feel welcome and that you have a place here and that you start to discover who Jesus is, walk in the purpose he made you for, and find community.
